Born in 1921, as a dream of Leo Schisler, Sugar Hills Golf Club, Inc., has morphed from a 9-hole course with sand greens, buffalo grass fairways and trees made of wet sand to what is now, the finest 18-hole golf course between Hays KS and Denver CO, lush bluegrass fairways and beautiful bent grass greens. We call Sugar Hills Golf Club “The Gem of the Prairie.”
Sugar Hills Golf Club plays host to many tournaments annually and sports a “Ladies League,” a “Men’s League,” a “Couples League” and Junior Golf. Our beautiful course amazes guests from outside the Goodland area, challenging them with rolling hills, creek beds and many trees and we are proud to say it is one of Goodland's gems.
After a day of golf, relax in our lounge for a cool beverage and and light refreshments. You will savor the moment.
Sugar Hills Golf Club restaurant offers a limited food selection from 11am to 4pm. The restaurant is also available other times by reservation for private meetings, class reunions and receptions.
