About Us:
Shawnee Bend Golf Course, a.k.a. 'The Bend', was opened in 1985 by the City of Warsaw. The town had a sands green course called Cedar Hills Golf Course, but was looking for something better. The Golf Course Committee worked with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers to obtain an old rock quarry to put the golf course on. Almost 30 years later, The Bend remains an important piece to the suddenly booming City of Warsaw.
The course is located 3 miles from downtown and is open to the public 9 months out of the year. 'The Bend' measures over 6600 yards from the Blue championship tees, with a course rating is 71.0 and has a slope of 117 (Blue tees). The facility also offers a driving range, putting green and snack bar. 'The Bend' has been proudly managed by the City of Warsaw since 1985.
