About
Just 25 miles north of NYC in the Hudson Valley, Rockland Lake State Park features an 18-hole Championship golf coure and an 18-hole Par 3 Executive course. Additional highlights: 2 Olympic-size swimming pools, picnicing, 6 tennis courts, fishing &boating.
The Championship Course plays 6,864 yards from the blue tees and 5,663 yards from the red tees. Designed by David W. Gordon in 1969, the greens have subtle breaks and the sloped fairways are very narrow, a true test to the avid golfer. The Executive Golf Course is a par 3 course with one set of tees played off of artificial mats. Some holes play short while others reach up to 200 yards in length. Drastic elevation changes make for some unbelievable views of Rockland County, NY. This Par 3 course is great for beginners or those just simply looking to have fun.
The park also offers two Olympic-size swimming pools, picnic areas and six tennis courts. Visitors can fish, boat or hike the available trails, which are also used by cross-country skiers in winter. The park is home to diverse wildlife and beautiful views of the Hudson River.
