History:
Redstone Golf Club opened in 2003 with an 18-hole Member Course designed by the renowned Jim Hardy and Peter Jacobson. Â This 900 acre land was beautifully crafted with Cypress, Live Oak and Pine trees. Â Since 2003, Redstone Golf Club has hosted the PGA TOUR's Shell Houston Open with three great years on the Member Course and the past four years on a newly crafted Tournament Course. Â Rees Jones, course architect, was instrumental on incorporating a beautiful yet challenging layout designed to test the best players in the world while maintaining a positive experience for players of all skill levels. Â Past Shell Houston Open champions at Redstone Golf Club include Fred Couples, Vijay Singh, Stuart Appleby, Adam Scott, Johnson Wagner and Paul Casey.
