About Us:
Porters Neck Country Club is the centerpiece of an upscale planned community just north of Wilmington, NC. The financially stable private club is managed by its membership, and has become a favored gathering place for social functions and sporting activities by many families living in the surrounding communities.
One's first impression of the club is influenced by a warm smile and welcoming handshake, indicative of the culture, lifestyle and hospitable nature of the membership and community at large. Further investigation reveals a family-oriented environment in which the many offerings of a full-service country club can be enjoyed.
The beautiful 18-hole Tom Fazio golf course is consistently maintained to the high standards set by the Fazio organization's design team.
Designed to accommodate the casual golfer and to challenge the seasoned professional, the golf course does not disappoint. In three of the last four years, the course has played host to three golf tournaments sponsored by the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA), the most recent being the North Carolina Mid-Amateur Championship in September, 2013.

A popular destination for golf events, Porters Neck Country Club has also hosted the North Carolina Open, the North Carolina Amateur, and the first stage of the PGA Tour Qualifying School.
Our Sports Center, which has 7 lighted Hydro/clay courts, serves as host to an exciting tennis program including weekly clinics for all skill levels, USTA League teams, and a wide variety of social events, hosted by the Porters Neck Tennis Association.
