The first 9 holes went so well that in the early 70’s he added an additional 9 holes for the existing 18 holes. The original 9 holes were rather difficult for the late 60’s and early 70’s.
Today, Oak Lane is one of the better kept golf courses in mid-Michigan with the greens leading the way. Some golfers say they are the best greens in the area, you’ll have to decide that for yourself!
