Moundview golf course was established in 1964, situated on 83 acres, the 9 hole course became reality. Through a corporation initially put together by a group of doctors at the local community hospital, Roche A Cri Recreation, Inc was born. The inaugural member group numbered 100, each member paid $100 to help get Moundview off the ground.
Today, Moundview GolfCourse sits on a total of 134 acres and is home to 125+ members and numerous recreational golfers from all over the Midwest. The course is known for its fabulous greens and quiet nature, the ability to walk or use a cart gives golfers options they don’t have everywhere. Each hole brings it’s own challenges, with the par 3′s being some of the most difficult you will play. Within the 9 hole layout is another 9, but from different tee positions and yardage, bringing the 18 holes to a par 71 with 6200 yard layout.
Moundview’s clubhouse offers a full bar and food menu, serving lunch specials daily. There are several flat screen TV’s where you can watch your favorite sporting event, enjoy a cold beverage of choice, all while you have a picturesque view of the golf course! The facility is also available for events and hosts a number of golf outings, class reunions, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions and chamber events, among others.
