About
On July 1,2005, the Links at Ivy Ridge officially opened and immediately caught the attention and captured the imagination of the Western New York golfing community. Unheralded and practically unheard of over the 7 years while under intense development and construction, the Links at Ivy Ridge has become recognized as a leading golf destination and an overwhelming success.
Developer Don Nicholas pooled the talent of Canadian Blane Harrison with that of local golf favorite Tim Davis in order to design and build the Links at Ivy Ridge. Nicholas's stated goal was to build the finest public golf facility in Western New York; no stone was left unturned in pursuit of this achievement in the past nor will it be allowed in the future.
In its short existence, the Links at Ivy Ridge has won several honors and distinctions. In 2006 the Links at Ivy Ridge was voted Best Public Golf Course by Buffalo Spree Magazine, in a write-in survey by its readers. That same year the Links at Ivy Ridge hosted the USGA U.S. Amateur qualifier. Dustin Johnson won the tournament, set the course record and is now on the pro tour. This summer the Links at Ivy Ridge is proud to be hosting the 2008 USGA U.S. Amateur Qualifier, on July 28th.
We at the Links at Ivy Ridge invite you to experience golf as it was meant to be!
