About Us :

Greensburg Golf Club was organized May 12, 1925 with 60 members. The club officially opened for play on August 12, 1926. It was composed of 6 holes with sand greens. After several years of sitting idle the club reopened in 1942 when the city of Greensburg acquired the deed to the property and eventually met with interested parties to lease the course to the members in 1953. The lease gave the country club license to make improvements. Plans were made to rebuild the course with 9 holes, grass greens, and irrigation. In 1964 the club purchased 64 acres to expand the course to 18 holes.

From those meager beginnings the members have created a premier golf experience!

Once a semi-private club Greensburg Country Club is now open to the public and has some of the finest golf facilities in the area. We offer a variety of membership options for families, individuals, and junior golfers. We also offer non-member packages such as Sunrise and Twilight golf specials and Player’s Cards. Monthly payment options are available. There is no initiation fee with many opportunities to lower your cost of membership.  See some of those options in our membership rate section.

Greensburg Country Club hosts a variety of leagues and tournaments for all members including our ladies and senior golfers. The course is very distance-friendly with appropriate tee boxes that provide a competitive, yet fun, golf experience.

Greensburg Country Club is committed to promoting junior golf and is proud to host our local junior high and high school teams at no cost to the schools or juniors. Team members practice and play free of charge year round. We are also proud to host a PGA/IGA sponsored Mountain Dew Golf event in July where junior golfers from all over the State of Indiana participate. We are also a host site for the high school sectionals for both boys and girls, have hosted the Hall of Fame Classic, and also host an elite high school girls tournament in the Fall.

After a round of golf, or if you just want to enjoy a day or evening out at our restaurant, you can entertain yourself with drinks and delicious food served up by McCamment’s Cattleman’s Inn. Cattleman’s Inn serves a variety of great food from hamburgers, hot dogs, and deli sandwiches in the snack bar, to prime rib, steaks, fish, and an Italian fare all of which taste great.
