The farm was purchased in 1968 with a dream of making a golf course, but raising a family and working, kept those ideas on the back burner until 1989. After retiring from IBM Corp. in 1989 the idea of a golf course seemed more feasible, and plans were starting to be formed on where and how the course would be built. In the fall of 1989 actual construction started, and continued thru all of 1990. The first 9 holes of the course opened for play on June 15 1991. A second 9 was constructed during 1995 and 1996 and opened for play in 1997. Over the years many improvements have been made.
The course now has 4 sets of tees with yardages from 4185, to 5818 yards.
