In 1990 investors from the area pool their resources and formed The Edge of the Wilderness Golf Course in Bigfork, MN. Then in 1999 the course was sold to the Baileys, Dvoraks and Warrens who formed Wilderness Golf Course. In 2005 the course was sold to the Gylfees who formed Golf on the Edge. The idea for this name came from Ken Dvorak.
The course is 9 holes complete with a putting green, chipping & pitching green and a 350 yard driving range. It is not unusual to see deer, bear, timber wolves or Canadian Geese on the course. The statuesque bear situated near the clubhouse was donated to the course by the Baileys.
This 9 hole regulation course features a log clubhouse with a deck overlooking the scenic area that contains a winding brook and beautiful pond. The clubhouse facilities can accommodate private golf parties, private family parties and business parties. We serve food, pop and beer, and have a full bar. Catering for in-house parties is available.
