Bentwater Golf Club, located in Acworth, is one of Northwest Atlanta’s best golf courses- playing almost 7,000 yards from the back tees. Bentwater Golf Club, which opened to rave reviews in 2000, is a parkland-style Mike Dasher design. Dasher, a native Georgian and graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology, worked with world-renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills for the first 16 years of his career, learning and developing his skills. He branched out and established his own golf course design firm in 1997. In addition to designing Bentwater, Dasher is also credited as the architect of Traditions of Braselton, another popular golf course in the Canongate family.
