Belle Meade Country Club
2660 Twin Pine Road

"Belle Meade Country Club was established in 1967. The golf course was closed during most of 2005 for an extensive renovation. The majority of the work focused on the greens and tees along with upgrades to the irrigation system. Length was added to some of the holes by either the addition of new tees or repositioning of greens bringing the total yardage to 6533. All of the greens complexes were totally rebuilt and recontoured  from the native soil up along with all the tee boxes rebuilt as well. The result is a new golf course that looks like it's been there for years.
Belle Meade is a golf course that is enjoyable and challenging for any caliber player, meandering through the tall Georgia pines along with various hardwood and ornamental trees. Members and guests alike will leave Belle Meade with fond memories and anticipate their return. Belle Meade Country Club has served as host to numerous area and regional amatuer tournaments. In addition to the many Club and Charity tournaments BMCC is the permanent site for the Regions Cup Matches as well as one of the regular Regions Cup events - the Camelia Classic. The Southeastern Junior Golf Tour comes to town in the summer and brings in the best juniors in the southeast. The Augusta Area Junior Golf Association also plays an event at Belle Meade as does the Georgia State Golf Association. The Club also hosts it's very own junior event - the Belle Meade Junior Invitational. Belle Meade Country Club is not overly long but places a premium on accuracy and shotmaking abilities. Many holes tempt the golfer to weigh the risk versus reward. The golf course is friendly to the average golfer but challenges the accomplished player as well."
