Marty and Connie Panning are embarking on their 5th anniversary as owners of Shady Acres Golf Course. They purchased the course in March, 2013. They both enjoy the game of golf and saw the opportunity to take their love of the game and inspiration to provide golfers of all ages and skill set an opportunity to step away from life's demands to enjoy a round of golf in a pleasant atmosphere.
Shady Acres Golf Course is a family-owned, public nine hole golf course located in McComb, Ohio along State Route 613. The golf course was established in 1931 and sits on 67 acres of land. It was one of the first public golf courses built in Hancock County. A creek running through the middle of the course presents challenges for any golf enthusiast. The well maintained nine hole course provides golfers of all ages and handicaps an enjoyable experience. Golfers will be greeted by an exceptional staff who are eager to make sure a pleasant experience is available for every golfer at Shady Acres.
