Sand Creek is an 18-hole, bent greens course. Built in 1978 and designed by William P. Bell and Sons, Sand Creek is truly a championship golf course. Western Director of the Usage's Green Section, Mr. William Bengevfield, stated "the rolling sand cunes, the abundance of water, the excellent soils and the proximity to town and tourists alike, make Sand Creek one of the potentially great golf courses in the west". The addition lf a 6-hole short course adjacent to the regulation course attracts hundreds of junior and adult golfers each season.
