The Flying M Ranch is family-owned and family-operated. The original owners were Homer and Evelyn Mathis. Homer, a Korean War Veteran and retired train conductor, had a vision to create a family-friendly golf course for all to enjoy. After their passing, their children Dave and Dana took over the business and are still currently doing so. The future heirs to the Ranch are Jeff Augustine, son of Frank Augustine and Dana Mathis, and Adam Mathis, son of Dave Mathis and Tammy Kapp.
