About Us:
Fairlakes has been providing a unique golfing experience to Central IL since it was opened in 1989. Our casual, friendly atmosphere combined with the course's unique layout, dramatic elevation changes, and challenging greens have made us a favorite destination for all levels of golfers.
2006 brought new owners and management to Fairlakes. Now beginning our 4th season, our vision remains to preserve the laid back, casual atmosphere Fairlakes has been known for, while enhancing our guest's experience both on the course and in the clubhouse. Some of the changes we are making to achieve this goal are:
- Completion of extened tee boxes on #6 and #9. Adds almost 70 yrds to course length!
- Excavation of new green area for #8 turning this hole into a par 5!
- Paving of the cart paths (Completed!)
- Refurbishing of all of the course bunkers!
- Upgrading of the Irrigation System to State of the Art (In Progress)
- 1st and 3rd Saturday Steak Nights (If you haven't had one, you need to experience it)!
- Expanded member events. An example of this is "night golf"
There are other planned enhancements to the grounds designed to improve the playing condition of the course. We have designed a program of continuous improvement to achieve the goals.
